Financial Assets (Stocks, Bonds, Mutual Funds and other securities)
Gifts of appreciated financial assets may offer additional tax savings: for example, stock which is held longer than one year, you can avoid capital gains taxes and receive a tax deduction for the full value of the stock on the date of transfer. We can assist you with a direct transfer from your brokerage firm, or we can accept actual stock, bond or mutual fund certificates.
