Who We Are
Providence Baptist Church is located in beautiful Riverview, Fl. We were est. in 1877 and have been faithfully servicing the Tampa Bay Area.

God Honoring Worship
The worship at Providence has one and only one focus, God. Our services are filled with God-honoring music, prayer and preaching; all of which are part of a healthy vibrant worship service. We focus on music filled with doctrine from Scripture, prayer based on Biblical principles, and preaching derived from literal interpretation of the Scripture. If you are looking for a place to truly worship the King of Kings we would love to have you.
Connection Groups
With classes that begin at the K-4 level all the way to our Senior Saints, there is a place to learn Biblical principles for everyone. Our classes allow for fellowship as well as instruction in the truths of the Bible. Many of our adult classes also have events at different times throughout the year just to be together as fellow believers. If you have a desire to learn about the Bible come and join one of our Connections Groups.
Loving Child Care For All Services
Our infants and toddlers have a facility right outside near our main auditorium where they can play and learn the Bible and songs. All childcare workers submit to a background check and must become a member before they work with our children.
Adult Ministries
The vision of Providence Baptist Church is to grow our adult members to become more faithful followers of Jesus through intentional, caring relationships centered on God’s Word.
Kid Ministries
PBC children’s ministry exists to glorify God in the church by equipping and assisting parents in their God-given role of raising children in the instruction of the Lord. We believe scripture is the foundation for all such instruction. Each child will experience a loving staff in an age-appropriate, secure and safe environment.
Student Ministries
Providence Baptist Church student ministries’ vision is to see our teenagers become passionate followers of Jesus. Our mission is to partner with and equip parents in the making of their teenagers into a devoted relationship with Jesus Christ.
World Wide Missions
PBC believes in the command of Matthew 28 to “make disciples”. Over 60 missionary or mission organizations are supported both internationally and stateside. Each October the church hosts its annual Missions Conference.
Nursery Ministries
The PBC nursery exists to serve our church family by allowing our parents to worship knowing that their child is being supervised in a clean, safe and fun environment. Our workers demonstrate a loving, gentle approach as a reflection of Christ’s love for children. Age-appropriate settings begin with the newborn to 3-year-old. The nursery is available for each scheduled service.
